Why vintage floral pillowcases?
We are obsessed with vintage florals and French toile. Our prints come from old French toile wallpapers and documents, and from torn fragments of fabric and scraps of old hand printed swatches from the late 1800s and early 1900s, revitalized in pretty colors. A floral pillowcase brings that story to your bed without changing everything else. We love them to liven up a white bed.

The Vintage Floral Tatter Ruffle Pillowcases are crafted of our soft, pre-shrunk, small batch printed cotton poplin, finished with a tatter ruffle. Prints include Victoria Wallpaper Toile Pink, Auberge Floral Creme, Victoria Stripe Blue, French Toile Wheat, French Toile Rose, Auberge Floral Sky Blue and French Toile Blue. Mix them and collect them all.

Where our prints come from
Each print has its own story. Victoria Toile is a wallpaper stripe design hand drawn exclusively for us. French Toile is our best selling vintage French toile floral. Austin Rose came from a vintage hand painted artwork on paper, re-created in bright sun washed hues. Trellis Damask was inspired by a vintage French wallpaper and re-created by our own artists. Every one is printed in small batches on 100% cotton poplin, then pre-washed so it is soft and ready for your bed.
How to style floral pillowcases
- On a white bed. The simplest and prettiest: white sheets and duvet, with a pair of floral pillowcases as the only print.
- Mix and match. Put two different prints side by side in related colors, like French Toile Rose with Victoria Wallpaper Toile Pink.
- With a print duvet. Pair a print pillowcase with a coordinating print bed. Our Auberge Bouquet Bedding is shown with a Petite Rosebuds pillowcase in Lilac.
- With velvet. A floral pillowcase in front of a velvet sham adds a soft, collected feel.
Pretty pillowcases as a gift
Floral pillowcases are one of our favorite gifts: thoughtful, personal and easy to fit into any bedroom. A few tips:
- Buy two. Most of our print pillowcases are sold individually, so purchase two to make a set. The Toile Bouquet set already comes as two.
- Pick her color. Soft pink, blue, lilac or creme. If she loves a color, choose the print that leans that way.
- Check the size. Most print pillowcases come in standard and king. See the measurements on each product page and on our Size Guide.
- Order early. Our print pillowcases are made to order. The Print Collection typically needs 3 to 5 business days of processing before shipping, and each product page lists its own time. During holidays and peak seasons, processing can take longer. See Made to Order and Delivery.

Order pairs together
We print our products to order in small batches, and later runs are not guaranteed to match exactly. If you want a matching pair, order both pillowcases at the same time.
Caring for your floral pillowcases
Our print pillowcase product pages say: machine wash in cold water, tumble dry on a low setting, no bleach. They are pre-washed, so they are soft from the first night.
