Fabric Swatches: See Our Silk Velvet Before You Buy
Colors look different from screen to screen, and we dye in small batches. A swatch lets you see and feel a color in your own light before you order bedding, throws or pillows. This collection holds our Silk Velvet Swatch.
What a swatch shows
Each swatch is about 4" x 4" and cut from our silk velvet base fabric, 82% rayon and 18% silk, crafted in small batches in California. It represents the velvet used on our Velvet Tatter Ruffle, Montage, Velvet Throw and Petite Velvet Ruffle collections. Swatches do not include trim. Choose your color from the menu on the product page.
A note on dye lots
Because of our small batch production and artisanal dyeing, actual dye lots may vary from the swatch you receive, and we cannot guarantee an exact match. Use the swatch to choose between colors, and order every piece of a set together so they come from the same lot.
Our printed fabrics can also be ordered as a swatch before you buy yardage; choose swatch or yard on each listing in the Fabric Shop.

Which colors to compare
Our velvet is rich, soft and washable, with a lustrous sheen. Seeing a swatch in daylight and in lamplight shows how the color shifts through the day, which is hard to judge on a screen.
If you are torn between two neutrals, such as Champagne and Natural, or two deep shades, such as Cacao and Topaz, order both.
